Linette and I didnt get out to the Midwest Zine Fest this week, like we had hoped to. The big power-outage changed a lot of our plans. Fortunately, though, there was a lot going on close to home this weekend. On Saturday afternoon, presidential candidate Howard Dean stopped by with his friend, Congressman John Conyers. They both wanted for me to tell you that they said, hello.
This isnt necessarily an endorsement, but I liked a lot of what Dean had to say. His best line of the morning went something like this The Republicans think that the rich got to where they are because they deserve it. They also think that the poor got to where they are because they deserve it.
