Well, I suppose it was just a matter of time. It looks as though the gods are beginning to punish Kez Panel for auctioning off all of my personal letters on Ebay… I just received the following note from him.
i had a fun weekend. I sliced my eyeball. I was unrolling an old movie poster and it sprung back and cut the “cellophane onion-skin-like” translucent layer over my eyeball. i think it’s called the “sclera”. i spent six hours in south side emergency room and had to be transported by ambulance to the pittsburgh eye & ear emergency hospital in oakland. my eyeball received novocaine drops, orange dye and was diolated and looked under a microscope for hours. docs say it will heal. luckily, no stitches. i didn’t know one could receive stitches on the eyeball itself. but i did gets a tetnis shot. i’m typing this with one good eye.
Actually, now that I think about it, it was shortly after I retaliated by selling all of his personal letters to me on Ebay that I went to the hospital with my own eyeball troubles. I wonder if there might be something to this…
