OK. I made it back home to Ypsilanti in one piece. If I have time later on this evening, once all of my husbandly duties have been tended to, I’ll try to piece the last few days together for you. Here, in the meantime, is a photo from the trip. This one is of Dave “the thumb” Miller. It was snapped outside the closet-sized studio in Brooklyn where we recorded. As you’ll notice, there’s a tiny rubber head where his hand should be… If not for this tiny, little head, I am confident Dave could have been a truly great drummer.
