Our old friend Doug Skinner thought that we might all like to read this spooky interview with Jeff Sharlet. In case you dont recognize the name, Jeff Sharlet was the author of the Harper’s piece last month entitled, “Jesus Plus Nothing / Undercover among America’s secret theocrats.” There’s some debate as to the veracity of his story, that he stayed for some time in a DC-area mansion owned by a highly-influential Christian religious group known as the Fellowship, but it’s good, interesting reading… I suppose it would actually be great reading material if you liked the thought of Ashcroft and others worshiping the likes of Hitler and looking forward to the authoritarian rule of Jesus Christ on Earth.
